Case Study – “Last Partner Standing”

Where a partner is the last person named on the lease and is looking to either retire or add in a contingency for future retirement plans.

CPCP will provide a nominee GP to be named on both the lease and GMS contract to maintain rent reimbursement flow, a management fee will be charged for this service.

Sale and Lease Back

CPCP will have a facility that will allow with strategic lending partners the purchase of property if it is deemed a financially viable and if it has met all the necessary criteria as prescribed by both CPCP and their partners.

This can then be leased back to the practice and supported with the CPCP lease management service and FM service if appropriate.

Repair and Redevelopment

Confederation Primary Care Property (CPCP) is a not for profit Community Interest Company working with primary care colleagues to resolve the estates challenges often faced.

The funds raised from the services provided is intended to be reinvested into projects across the city.

Enabling us to provide and support the development of a robust and sustainable primary care to better the wider system in its delivery of the best care for the health and wellbeing of the people and communities of Leeds and surrounding areas. 

This phase of work is likely to start 2022/23 and more details of the form this will take will be given in time.

Support in shared buildings

CPCP and the GP Confederation work closely with several strategic partners involved in estates in Leeds.

Involved with the one strategic estates strategy our role is to raise awareness of the estate needs and challenges currently faced and to work with partners to find solutions.
